Searching for Oak Lawn Bank Robbery Suspect

OAK LAWN, Illinois — The Oak Lawn Police Department is seeking public assistance to identify suspects in an armed bank robbery Tuesday afternoon.

Officers were dispatched to Chase Bank, 5700 Blocks on 95th Street shortly before 2:30 p.m. Tuesday after receiving a call about an armed bank robbery, according to the Oak Lawn Police Department.

The suspect involved was a Caucasian man between the ages of 40 and 50, who was allegedly wearing a short black wig, beard, khaki jacket, dark blue T-shirt, khaki pants and gray shoes. He reportedly entered the bank with a semi-automatic pistol and demanded money from the bank teller.

The suspect was last seen walking south down the 9,500 block of Major Avenue with an unknown amount of gold.
