Nashville, Tennessee (WKRNMore) — the shooter who killed 6 people in covenant school last week He fired a total of 152 shots before being shot by officers, Nashville police said in an update to the investigation Monday.

according to the police, Audrey Hale fired 126 rifle rounds and 26 9mm rounds while at school. Based on the information currently available, investigators believe Hale worked alone.

Police also said joint documents written by Hale (found in the shooter’s bedroom and car) indicated that Hale had been planning mass murder at Covenant schools for months. It also took into account “the actions of the mass murderers,” the document says.

The documents are undergoing careful scrutiny by the Metro Nashville Police Department and the Behavioral Analysis Division of the FBI in Virginia, police said.

Two Metro police officers shot and killed Hale. Officer Rex Englebert fired a total of four shots from a rifle, and Officer Michael Corazo fired four shots from a 9mm pistol, police said.

Investigators have not yet determined a motive for the shooting. That part of the investigation is ongoing by the Homicide Unit in consultation with the FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Unit.
