Man kills driver suspected of running over brother: police
On Dec. 2, police, responding to a call that someone had been hit by a car, found 22-year-old John Johnson III lying on the road in Morrow, Georgia. Lying next to him was the car’s owner, Antramiko Williams, 28.
Williams was dead “Shoot again and again” Police said in a December 6 Facebook post. The gunman was Johnson’s brother, 20-year-old Jonathan Johnson, police said.
Witnesses told police that after John Johnson was beaten, a third man, later identified as Jonathan Johnson, got into an altercation with Williams and shouted that he was Johnson’s brother. Johnson pulled a pistol from his waistband and began shooting Williams at close range.
Investigators said 13 shell casings were found at the scene.
After shooting Williams, Jonathan Johnson fled the scene, police said. He is currently being held in Clayton County Jail and charged with murder and aggravated assault.
Police say Jon Johnson remains at Grady Memorial Hospital.
Tomorrow it will be about 15 miles south of Atlanta.
