Humboldt Park shooting: Man dead in Westside shooting, Chicago police say

Chicago (WLS) — A man was killed in a shooting on the city’s West Side, Chicago police said.

Police said the 27-year-old man was shot several times before 1 a.m. as he was standing on a street near West Division Street and North Lawndale Avenue in the Humboldt Park neighborhood.

Police said the victim was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where he later died.

Police said no one has been detained so far. Local detectives continue to investigate.
