Chicago shootings: At least 10 dead, 2 dead in weekend shootings across Chicago, police say

Chicago (WLS) — At least 10 people have been shot in the city since 6 p.m. Friday, including two fatalities, according to Chicago police.
A recent shooting killed one man and injured another at Back the Yard on Friday night.
Chicago police said Antonio Andrade, 39, of Block 4700 South Ada Street, was standing on the sidewalk just before 8 p.m. when someone opened fire and shot him in the back.
Andrade was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, according to police and the Cook County coroner’s office.
A 28-year-old man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital with abrasions to his knee from the shooting, police said. his condition was good.

Chicago police said the victim was shot multiple times while standing on the 2900 block of West Lexington Avenue. He was later confirmed dead.
No one has been taken into custody in the murder, and area detectives are continuing to investigate.
Two people were killed in a shooting on the city’s South Side on Friday night, police said.
Police said the two male victims, aged 28 and 40, were on the 4700 block of South Ada Street when they were shot. The 28-year-old victim suffered abrasions on his knee and was taken to hospital where he was in good condition. The 40-year-old victim was shot in his back and taken to hospital, where he was initially reported as in critical condition.
