Chicago (CBS) — AIDS Run and Walk is back on Soldier Field Sunday.
A large crowd gathered at the start line in the morning. About 2,500 walkers and runners participated.
This year’s theme aims to focus on how to move forward together and create a better future for people living with HIV and AIDS.
John Peller of the AIDS Foundation Chicago said, “This is a truly incredible celebration of the work being done to prevent HIV and help those living with HIV in the Chicago area.
Organizers say at least $400,000 has been raised to support prevention and treatment programs.
