23-year-old man shot dead while driving in Grays Lake
Chicago (CBS) — A 23-year-old man was shot dead Saturday morning while riding in his car in Grays Lake.
The man was in a car on Washington Street near Lancer Lane around 10:45 a.m., according to the Lake County Serious Crime Commission.
A 23-year-old man was struck and his driver rushed him to the Northwestern Medicine Center Glass Lake, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
The Grays Lake Police Department responded to the hospital with a report of the shooting victim and requested assistance from the Lake County Serious Crime Commission in its investigation.
An autopsy is scheduled, officials said.
