2 shootings Monday: 1 victim, no suspects
PEORIA, Illinois (WMBD) — There are still no suspects in the Monday night shooting that left one victim with non-life-threatening injuries, Peoria police said Tuesday.
The Peoria Police Department (PPD) dispatched officers to Block 1100 of N. Orange Street just before 7:30 with a shot spotter alert that 14 rounds had been fired. En route, his 800 block on W. Russell Street caused his second shot spotter alert reporting 16 shots fired.
Officers arriving at the scene learned that an adult man had been injured by the shots fired. He was taken in his own car to a local hospital, where his condition is said to be non-life-threatening.
This incident is under investigation by PPD. There is no questionable information at this time.
