Week starts with mild and stormy weather but could end like winter
A major storm will hit the Midwest on Monday, bringing a range of weather, from heavy snow and ice in the north to heavy rain and potentially severe thunderstorms in the south. The Chicago area will experience heavy rains that can cause localized flooding. Thunderstorms are possible here, but the main threat of severe weather should be well south of the city south of Interstate 80.
