The Krauses visit the Rockford Blood Bank

ROCKFORD, IL (WTVO) — The Krauses rolled up their sleeves.

The Christmas power couple was promoting a “Santa’s Nice List” contest at the Rock River Valley Blood Center. Those who donate between now and Thursday will have a chance to win prizes.

Center staff said the local blood supply was very low. RRVBC He serves nine counties. The population of the area is about 1.1 million.

We need 800 weekly donors to keep up with demand.

RRVBC COO Hedi Ognibene said: “So we need blood all the time, and there is no rest for it. So sickness, accidents and trauma still happen.”
