Motown legend and The Miracles frontman Smokey Robinson has written or co-written over 4,000 songs in his career. The 82-year-old is still touring and performing, and will soon release his first album in almost a decade, Gasms. Correspondent Tracy Smith talks with Robinson, who was named one of his MusiCares winners at the Recording Academy this year, about making a force in the music industry. He overcomes racism while touring the Deep South. and end his drug addiction.
