A man was shot dead in a hotel lounge on Chicago’s North Side early Sunday morning.

A man was shot dead in a hotel lounge on the city’s North Side early Sunday morning, police said.

At approximately 1:21 a.m., a 35-year-old man got into a fight with someone else in the 1816 N. Clark St. lounge, according to information from police and the Cook County Coroner’s Office. The address is the same as the Hotel Lincoln in Lincoln Park.

Another man, also a man, shot a 35-year-old woman in the chest.

The Chicago Fire Department transferred the victim to the Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where he was pronounced at 1:56 am.

Police said no arrests had been made as of Sunday morning and area detectives were investigating.
