A heat wave advisory covers 11 western states, with triple-digit highs expected in the central plains on Saturday. Refreshing south-southwest winds will keep the lake from cooling over the weekend. Sporadic thunderstorms expected Saturday night, continuing Sunday and Monday. Temperatures will drop on Monday, but the humidity will remain high. Afternoon highs should be close to 80 throughout the next working week with comfortable humidity. Weekday nighttime lows should be near normal in the mid-60s.
