Caloocan City, May 31st (PIA) –Uniersidad de Manila (UdM) will soon offer technical and vocational courses that will lead to livelihoods and employment.

It was signed by the Manila Municipal Government over the weekend with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) along with the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) on UdM’s technical and vocational courses at 659-A Cecilia Munoz St. , Ermita, Manila.

Domagoso and Lapena are signatories to the tripartite agreement, witnessed by UdM President Maria Lourdes Tiquia and PESO Manila Director Fernan Bermejo.

“The local government of Manila will strive to be better and more efficient to provide new opportunities for training and education,” said Mayor Francisco “Isco Moreno” Domagoso.

The UdM Center for Microcredentialing and Industry Training houses the TESDA Manila District Office, which manages tech-voc courses.

With the support and support of TESDA, UdM and PESO-Manila work hand in hand for the success of programs and activities aimed at improving the employment potential, skills and capabilities of the workforce in the national capital. work.

The courses offered by UdM are:

  • Graphic design, photography
  • Programming-Java and Python
  • Web development
  • Coffee apprentice
  • 2D and 3D animation

TESDA Executive Director Isidro Lapena said he would remain true to his commitment to providing quality training to Manila.
