Two people killed in carjacking after shooting at Logan Square

Chicago — Two people were killed in a shooting and carjacking in the city’s Logan Square district.

When a 25-year-old man was sitting at a bus stop on West Fullerton Avenue block 3900, another man who fired after a quarrel approached him. The man was shot in the chest and pronounced on the scene.

The shooter then rushed to Block 2300 on North Keystone Avenue, shooting a 41-year-old man and stealing his car. The 41-year-old was taken to the Illinois Masonic Medical Center where he was sentenced to death.

No one has been detained and police are investigating.
