71-year-old man seriously injured after accidentally falling into water on south side
CHICAGO — A 71-year-old man is in critical condition after being pulled from the water near Dusable Lake Shore Drive on Saturday night.
Police say the man accidentally fell and was pulled from the water around 11:59 p.m. Saturday night near Block 4,900 on South Dusable Lake Shore Drive in Jackson Park.
He was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he is reported to be in critical condition.
The incident has been classified as non-criminal and WGN will update as further information becomes available.
