EarlyAround 3 am on Friday, a robber hid and pointed his gun at him. After handing the bag to the criminal, Early picked up the gun and both fell to the ground while struggling over the gun.
A second robber, also armed with a gun, rushed up. When the victim was suffering from the first robbery, I heard one of them requesting a passcode from his cell phone. Then the first robber shot the victim and took his cell phone.
When the victim was lying on the ground, the robber asked him again for his passcode before shooting him again. After asking the victim for the passcode again, the victim gives him some numbers before yelling in pain, and the robber shoots him three times while he is still lying on the street.
He was taken to the Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where he had two gunshot wounds on his back, one on his head, and a partial loss of his colon.
One source tells CBS2 that police have found the suspect’s car.
Early attacks were only one of eight that occurred in the area within 48 hours.
