Do you recognize this necklace?Illinois coroner helps identify hit-and-run victim

PEORIA, Illinois (WMBD) — Authorities need help identifying a man who died in a hit-and-run accident in Peoria on Sunday morning.

At approximately 2:13 am on Sunday, October 9, Peoria police responded to a man lying unconscious on the street at the intersection of Sheridan and Collington. He was not breathing when the police approached him.

The victim had no identification at the time of death.

The Peoria County coroner described the victim as a white man in his late 40s to 50s with missing lower teeth. He had no identifiable tattoos or other identifiable markings, and a fingerprint test yielded no results.

The man wore this necklace when he died.
