Pittsburgh (AP) — The Pittsburgh Steelers removed starlinebacker TJ Watt from the COVID-19 list on Saturday, boosting their embarrassed defenses before AFC North’s leading Baltimore visited on Sunday.

Pittsburgh put Watt on the list on Monday. The day after losing to Cincinnati 41-10, the Steelers fell to 5-5-1. He did not practice during the week and remained away from the team’s facilities as part of the league’s COVID-19 protocol.

Watt’s 12 1/2 Sack is ranked second in the league. His presence should help Pittsburgh try to keep the Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson in check.

While Watt is available, cornerback Joe Hayden misses his third straight game with a sprained leg. After missing practice due to illness on Friday, the status of defensive end Cam Hayward is unknown, but he is not on the COVID-19 list.
