Rockford fundraiser benefits city’s furry friends

ROCKFORD, IL (WTVO) — A fundraiser in Rockford on Saturday benefited the city’s furry friends.

The PAWS Humane Society held its 15th Annual “Furball” Saturday night at the Tebara Event Center. The evening included drinks, dinner, dancing, live music, a silent auction and a 50/50 raffle.

Organizers are thrilled to host the event each year.

“It’s a great time for animal lovers to come together and celebrate,” said Katrina Carlson, PAWS Board Member. “PAWS had an amazing year last year.

Carlson said it was PAWS’ biggest fundraiser of the year.
