Champaign, Illinois (Wand)-A 23-year-old man was arrested after fleeing the shooting scene on Monday night.

According to police, at around 7:50 pm, police officers heard multiple shootings from the apartment area in 1100 blocks of North 3-chome.

Upon arrival, police officers observed the black sedan fleeing the area at high speed.

According to police, another police officer was responding to the scene, and vehicles that matched the description of the car escaping from the shooting scene were observed driving south on Fourth Avenue and Washingtondori Street.
