19-year-old charged with first-degree murder in Chatham shooting

CHICAGO – A 19-year-old man arrested in connection with the Chatham murders in the first week of June has been charged with first-degree murder, according to Chicago police.

Jebron James Clark, 19, has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with the June 3, 2023, murder in Chatham.

Police said Jebron James Clark, a 19-year-old Chicago resident, was charged with one count of first-degree murder after being arrested Sunday by CPD officers in the 0-100 block of West 110 Place.

Earlier, Clark had been identified as the gunman who shot and killed a 40-year-old man at Block 8300 on South Ingleside Avenue on June 3.

Clark is scheduled to return to bond court on Tuesday.
