Our Chicago: City Hall has most of Chicago’s strong Latina leaders

Chicago (WLS)-Chicago’s No. 1 news station, ABC7, introduced a virtual town hall featuring four of Chicago’s most powerful and influential Latina leaders. ABC 7 Eyewitness News anchor / reporter Tanja Babich will host this one-hour event, “OUR CHICAGO: VOICES OF THE COMMUNITY,” which will be unveiled on abc7chicago.com on Thursday, October 14th at 2:00 pm.

Crain’s Chicago Business published a list of “Chicago’s Most Powerful Latino Americans” in 2019. This week’s Our Chicago: Voices of the Community town hall featured four women representing the heritage of Mexico, Spain, Puerto Rico and Ecuador. Personal and professional stories, along with the challenges and rewards of each journey. Tanja Babich learns how culture conveys their efforts as they delve into what they have done to become transformants and work to strengthen the community as a whole. It also details what they have done to form businesses and major nonprofits throughout Chicago and Illinois, many of which are nationwide and want their heritage to be. I have.
