Olympia Fields-Security Guard Injured During Call Fired at Wal-Mart Supercenter in Chicago Tribune

A security guard woman suffered a head injury on Saturday morning when someone fired at a Wal-Mart supercenter in Olympia Fields.

At 9:42 am, police received a call to fire at Wal-Mart in 21000 Western Ave., a suburb of the southwest, according to police chief Derrick Brushungham.

“When they arrived, they found a victim with a wound on her head,” said the chief.

A person fired at the store, but the victim was not shot. She was injured by something else, the chief said.

She was hospitalized but was not given her condition.

No one has been arrested, the chief said.

No one answered in the store, and the store manager said he wouldn’t be open today.
