Ohio coroner announces autopsy of Kiea Thomas

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — The Franklin County Coroner’s Office on Friday released details about the death of one of the two twins previously subject to Ohio’s Amber Alert.

Paramedics took him to the National Children’s Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. “The cause of death was determined to be unexplained sudden infant death accompanied by other significant conditions, including an unsafe sleeping environment. He was surrounded by soft pillows and blankets,” the coroner’s office wrote.
