Northwestern University Extends Most Fraternity Suspension In Investigation of Drug Allegations

Evanston, Illinois (WLS)-Northwestern University has extended the suspension of most fraternity activities.

School is investigating Claims that people were taken medicine without their consent At the Fraternity House on campus.

Neither the police nor the university named the Brotherhood, but they shared the address of the alleged incident that matched the homes of Sigma Alpha Epsilon and Alfip Siron Pai.

The university said it had received reports of individuals being given the drug without their consent at a rally at 2300 blocks on Sheridan Road, Evanston, in late September.

School officials said they were not only investigating the report, but also the separate but similar reports they received the day before from the rally at 500 blocks on Lincoln Road.

On Sunday, the university announced that restrictions on social events on and off campus would be extended until at least January 3.
