Chicago – A luxury car was available on Sunday, thanks to the quick thinking of a 7-year-old man.
With the help of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the Chicago Police Department, and the Chicago Fire Department, Ibrahim’s dream of becoming a police officer has come true.
A 7-year-old child from South Suburban Worth suffers from a life-threatening heart disease.
The CPD and the city fire department met Ibrahim on Sunday at McCormick Place. Ibrahim joined the SWAT team and helped track and catch car thieves.
Throughout all that, Ibrahim showed his courage. That’s why the Chicago Fire Live Savings Award was presented to Ibrahim by CFD District Chief Jammer Sullivan.
“Thank you for serving the young man,” he said.
Police also brought the seized luxury car to the event, allowing Ibrahim to look inside.
