Decatur, Illinois (Wand)-The Macon County Health Department hosts two COVID-19 vaccine clinics in Macon County during the week of October 25th.
The first clinic will be held on Wednesday, October 27th, followed by the second clinic on Thursday, October 28th.
Both clinics will be held at the Macon County Health Department from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm and will provide vaccines for Pfizer, Modana, Johnson & Johnson.
If you take the first and second doses, you are allowed to bring them in. If you need a booster shot, you need to make a reservation.
People over the age of 12 are eligible for the Pfizer vaccine, and those over the age of 18 are eligible for Moderna and Johnson & Johnson.
If possible, patients should bring a photo ID or insurance card.
These are walk-in clinics for the first and second doses, but if you want a booster shot, you need to call (217) 718-6205 or visit the following link to book.

COVID-19 Vaccine Booster Shots are Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna Vaccine Recipients who completed their second shot before April 28, 2021, and Johnson & Johnson, who completed a single shot before August 28, 2021. Available to Johnson Vaccine Recipients.
Booster eligibility requirements listed below:
- 65 years of age or older
- 18 years old or older living in a long-term care facility
- 18 years or older with underlying illness
- 18+ working in a high-risk environment
- 18+ who live in a high-risk environment
A parent or legal guardian must be with a minor.
If someone other than your parent or legal guardian plans to bring your child Allow / proxy form Must be filled out and signed by a parent or legal guardian. The form must be brought to the clinic.
