Golden Corral pays tribute to national heroes at 22nd Annual Military Appreciation Night

Raleigh, North Carolina (KTVE/Card) — Golden Corral honors national heroes at its 22nd Annual Military Appreciation Night. On November 14, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until closing time, Golden Coral restaurants across the country will celebrate Veterans Day by offering free “thank you” meals to those who defend and serve our country.

It is an honor and a privilege to serve a true American hero who selflessly defends our country and defends our freedom.

Lance Trenary, President and CEO of Golden Corral

Veterans do not need military ID to receive free meals. The Military Appreciation Meal is for Eat His Inn only and does not apply to spouses or family members of military personnel.

Golden Corral will also raise funds for Disabled American Veterans (DAV), a nonprofit organization that provides lifelong support to veterans and their families. These funds are funded by donations from Golden Corral guests. For more information on DAV, visit their website. DAV.org.

According to the release, Golden Corral’s Military Appreciation Night provided 6 million meals to military personnel and raised approximately $18 million from guests supporting Veterans Day community-based service initiatives.

Military Appreciation Night is one of the most cherished traditions we look forward to each year. Although it pales in comparison to what they do for us, free meals are our way of showing appreciation and gratitude for their service and sacrifice.

Lance Trenary, President and CEO of Golden Corral
