Dunkin’ adds new menu items and brings back some ‘old friends’

Dunkin’ is adding new items to its menu this winter as well as bringing back “old friends.”

Just in time for the new year, Dunkin’ is debuting new items on its menu while also bringing back some “old friends.”

Among new itemsThe company’s news release announced new dark roast options coming December 28: Brown Butter Toffee Latte, Bacon Avocado Tomato Sandwich, and Stuffed Biscuit Bites.

At the debut of Dunkin’ Midnight, Dunkin described the coffee as “the strongest coffee ever.”

“This is a deep, rich coffee blend with notes of bittersweet chocolate and a very dark finish,” the company says.

The Brown Butter Toffee Latte features “bold espresso with subtle brown butter and toffee flavor notes.”

The Bacon Avocado Tomato Sandwich in sourdough bread includes “oven-roasted tomatoes, creamy avocado spread, and crispy bacon.”

If guests are looking for something a little smaller, they can try “Stuffed Biscuit Bites, Dunkin’s latest twist on the classic breakfast food.” and stuffed with cheddar cheese.

In addition to new items, Dunkin’ is bringing back some old favorites.

The brownie batter donut, celebrating its 10th anniversary, will return to the menu sooner than before, according to the company.

“Brownie batter donuts feature a chocolatey brownie batter-flavored buttercream filling and are topped with chocolate icing and sprinkles.

Brownie donuts will be on the menu through February 21, according to the company.

The company also said it would be reviving Sweet Black Pepper Bacon, which guests can enjoy as an “easy-to-go” item or in a Sweet Black Pepper Bacon breakfast sandwich.

In addition to the upcoming menu item additions, Dunkin’ will also debut Dunkin’-Run. This says, “When a guest purchases a medium or larger hot or iced his coffee, you can add a $1 classic donut.”
