Disney CEO says park attendance limit will be raised – NBC Chicago

Disney’s top executives say the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s decision to ease masking requirements for fully vaccinated people is “very big news for us.”

In a statement on Thursday, Disney CEO Bob Chapek said that in the near future, Disney Park’s must-have after the CDC said people could stop wearing masks in most outdoor indoor environments in the crowd. Suggested that the mask requirements may change.

“Especially if someone is in Florida with a mask in the middle of the summer, which can be quite daunting,” Chapek said. “So I think it will be an even more enjoyable experience.”

Chapek said the park has already begun to increase the number of people allowed, at least in Florida, based on deregulation from the office of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. He didn’t say how many people were allowed in the park compared to the previous limit of just over one-third of the park’s capacity.

“So I think the number of people we can get into the park will soon increase through the recently implemented booking system,” Chapek said.

The CDC guidance requires wearing masks in crowded indoor environments such as buses, planes, hospitals, prisons, and homeless shelters, but it helps clarify how to reopen work, school, and other places. I will. Fully vaccinated.
