“Children of Blood and Bones” writer Tomia Deiemi has been inducted into the Harry Potter Hall of Fame in a series like Harry Potter.

Hinsdale, Illinois (WLS)-Tomia Deiemi was inducted into the School Hall of Fame at the age of 28 and made a special homecoming at Hinsdale Central High School on Friday.

“I feel a little shocked by all that,” she admitted.

Graduates from both Hindsdale Central and Harvard University starred in Good Morning America four years ago after signing one of the biggest book deals in history for young adult writers. About an hour after its appearance, Adieemi said she was excited and “sick.”

Her fantasy series “Children of Blood and Bones” is now being filmed by Lucasfilm. Called Adieemi “a mix of Black Panther and Harry Potter,” the series celebrates her Nigerian heritage on a fictional stage. Adieemi says that this story is an “epic adventure”, but ” [her] heritage. “

Adieemi said she was looking forward to the next chapter.
