Chicago (CBS)- The scattered storms arrive in the second round on Saturday, with the first storm occurring early in the morning and early afternoon.
Depending on how much clearing takes place later in the day, it will affect how much instability will occur in the second round of the night. Round 2 arrives after dark as showers and storms form as the cold front travels through our area.
The Storm Forecast Center has our area under the “limit” risk (level 1) of heavy storms.
As the front passes, the humidity will be lower on Sundays and northwest gusts will begin to blow.
TONIGHT: Clear & Mild. Low 70.
Saturday: Scattered storms. High 89.
Sunday: BREEZY & LES SHUMID. High 82.
