Chicago (CBS) — A Chicago woman died last week in a Zion plane crash.
At 12:30 a.m. on July 29, Zion Police Department officers responded to a traffic accident in which a person was injured at the intersection of Lewis Avenue and 33rd Street, according to a news release.
When police arrived, they discovered that the crash involved a semi-truck/trailer and a passenger car.
The driver of the car was taken to a local hospital but died from his injuries.
The Lake County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Ashley Baker, 30.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
