CHICAGO — Chicago police announced Tuesday that a 33-year-old man has been charged in the shooting death of a 16-year-old boy in Austin.
Police say Leon Taylor is involved in the fatal shooting of a teenage boy on Saturday, Nov. 18, in the 100 block of N. Parkside Avenue.
Police arrested Taylor around 10 p.m. Saturday, less than two hours after the alleged shooting, officers said.
Taylor is charged with a felony count of first-degree murder.
He was scheduled to appear in court for arraignment on Tuesday.
