Carrot Recall 2021: Bunny Luv, O Organics, Cal-Organic, Grimmway Farms bag finely chopped baby carrots for the risk of Salmonella

Grimmway Farms is recalling bagged carrots sold in grocery stores nationwide because they may be contaminated with Salmonella.

Recalls include carrots sold under their own brand, Bunny Luv, Cal-Organic, O Organics and Grimmway Farms. All recalled retail products have a 9-character lot code that begins with 195, 196, or 197 and ends with BF or SP.

According to the company, the recall is the result of regular internal testing. So far, there are no recall-related illnesses.

In addition to the recalled carrots sold at retail stores, Grimmway Farms said it also recalled carrots sent to food manufacturers and distributors in the food service industry.

The person in possession of the recalled product must not consume it and must destroy or dispose of it.
