Big Guys Sausage closed, focused on catering

Berwyn, Illinois — Soon Chicagoans won’t be able to eat big game sausage Already.

The popular sausage stand, which has served burgers, sandwiches, red hots and fries for the past decade, is closing its Roosevelt location and focusing on catering.

“We feel that expanding our catering is the best thing for our business,” says O’Connor. “That way, you can control costs, control sales, control overheads, and have maximum control.”

O’Connor said several other nearby businesses like his had also had to close, so it was a difficult decision to make.

“In the Oak Park, Berwyn and River Forest areas alone, we had five deals last week. I have six,” says O’Connor. “I have made some of the closest friends I have today from this restaurant… employees and customers.”

Big Guys will end on Saturday, September 24th.
