Addison Fire: At least 17 trucks ignite at Fraton’s KDM truck service facility

Addison, Illinois (WLS) –From Monday night to Tuesday morning, at least 17 semi-trailers broke out at Addison’s trucking facility, fire officials said.

Chris Mansfield, commander of Addison, said the fire brigade responded to a report that two semi-trailers had caught fire at a KDM truck service facility on Fraton Avenue near Vista Avenue at around 10:30 pm. Told.

When they arrived, a tank of diesel fuel ignited and the fire quickly spread, Mansfield said.

At least 17 trucks ignited. No injuries were reported, but a spill of diesel oil closed Fullerton in Vista to clean up dangerous goods. Several fire departments helped Addison.

No cheating has been suspected, but the cause of the fire is still under investigation, fire officials said.
