A 32-year-old man was injured in a puncture wound on the North River, according to Chicago Police Department

Chicago (WLS)-Chicago police are investigating a 32-year-old man after being stabbed in the city’s River North district early Tuesday morning.

According to police, it happened after 5 am at 600 blocks in North Clark.

A Seven-Eleven clerk near Wacker and Wabash told Eyewitness News that he rushed to the store for help after saying the victim had been stabbed by Rock N Roll McDonald’s.

The victim told police that the suspect had stabbed his arm, hips and chest several times. According to police, he was fairly injured and taken to the Northwest Hospital.

No one has been detained.

Area 3 detectives are investigating.
