Chicago residents woke up to the coolest temperatures the city has seen since mid-June, as a cold front pushed through the region over the weekend.
O’Hare International Airport recorded a low of 53 degrees, the coolest reading in Chicago since June 15, and Sunday marked the first day with below-normal temperatures since late August. fox32chicago
The cool stretch won’t last long. Highs are expected to climb into the mid-70s with increasing cloud cover and a chance of showers later in the day, with the warmest day of the week arriving Tuesday, when highs could reach the low-to-mid 80s.
